德克萨斯联合银行CEO：应该限定由持牌银行发行美元稳定币:8月20日消息，德克萨斯联合银行（United Texas Bank）首席执行官Scott Beck表示，应该限定由持牌银行发行美元稳定币，而不是像Circle这样的发行人。如果将此类稳定币定义为货币，那么银行是发行和管理稳定币的合适经济参与者，银行拥有处理资金的专业知识和法律框架，与今天的稳定币参与者不同，银行在州和联邦层面都受到高度监管。
Scott Beck强调，将稳定币活动带入银行业并禁止非银行机构发行稳定币将加强消费者保护，并为这一新兴经济活动领域吸引更多资源和资本。
